Tiger Trail Volunteers Needed

Are you ready to get active, support the Blaine community, and have a roaring good time? Look no further than Tiger Trails – a fantastic initiative that gets our students moving and encourages a healthy, active lifestyle. Here's everything you need to know about this exciting program:

What is Tiger Trails?

Tiger Trails is a student-driven activity where our young Tigers run or walk designated "tracks" around the playground to earn "foot" tokens or charms for reaching distance goals. It's all about encouraging physical activity, having fun, and fostering a sense of achievement.

Who Can Participate?

Tiger Trails is open to any student in grades K-5. It's an inclusive program that welcomes everyone, regardless of age or grade level.

When Does It Happen?

Get ready to mark your calendars because Tiger Trails kicks off in October and takes place every Wednesday during lunch recesses. The schedule is as follows:

- Grades 3-5: 11:40-11:55 AM

- Grades K-3: 12:00-12:15 PM

Please note that Tiger Trails is weather-dependent, so make sure to keep an eye on the skies!

Why Join Tiger Trails?

Participating in Tiger Trails has numerous benefits. Not only does it promote physical activity and a healthy lifestyle, but it also provides an alternative recess option for kids. Whether they choose to walk or run, it's a chance to stay active, spend time with friends, and enjoy the outdoors.

How Can You Get Involved?

Tiger Trails is a community effort, and volunteers play a crucial role in making it a success. As a volunteer, you'll assist by handing out lap cards, checking off completed laps, and cheering on our enthusiastic runners.
