Lesson Details

Lessons are required for 6, 7 & 8 Graders who have skied fewer than 10 times. Lessons are available for skiers/snowboarders of all abilities.  If you are not comfortable with your child’s ability to ski on their own, we highly encourage you to sign your child up for lessons. The lessons are provided through Cascade Ski School and will be from 7:30pm to 9:00pm.

Those taking lessons are welcome to free ski until lessons start. If they are beginner skiers, we ask them to stay at the beginner magic carpet area. We will have volunteers there to help them during this time. If they are not comfortable doing this, they are welcome to hang out in the lodge until lessons start.

How to Sign-up for Lessons

Here is the Cascade Ski School registration form which will need to be sent directly to the ski school for lessons.  This does not include ski rentals, ski pass or ski lift ticket. You MUST register your child and purchase a bus seat on this site first before submitting your form to Cascade.

Total Costs Breakdown

Transportation: $375

  • Each bus will have a bathroom & outlets for phone charging

  • $25 discount for each additional child in the family that is signed up

  • Send transportation fee to @Molly-Adrian-2 Venmo profile after completing registration form

Lessons: $225 (paid directly to Cascade Ski School)

Season Passes: You can purchase these through Summit at Snoqualmie website. Prices vary based on age and pass type.

Lift Tickets: Current season pricing for nightly tickets will be released sometime in the Fall. If you wait until the evening of the ski bus, tickets may be sold out. If you purchase tickets online, you will provide your skier with a voucher (printed or digital) that they take to the window to redeem for a ticket. We will not be purchasing group tickets ahead of time. You must buy them online.

Gear

All students must have gear before the first ski bus day, Jan 13.  Renting on the mountain will take a fair amount of time and there will not be an adult to help. If needed, there are several advance fitting and rental options in this area - start with Alpine Hut or ProSki.

Code of Conduct

All participants must stay with their buddy and uphold the Blaine Ski Bus Code of Conduct at all times. Both skiers/snowboarders and parents must sign the Code of Conduct before our first bus Friday. The Code of Conduct will be strictly enforced and if a skier violates the agreement, they may be released from the Ski Bus with no refunds.

Volunteer Opportunities

Don't forget - we need your help to make this successful! We need 2-3 Chaperones per bus and 1-2 emergency drivers. The good news is after assisting with check-in, you ski for FREE!! Please consider volunteering by clicking here
