Enrichment
Our commitment to students goes well beyond the school day.
After School Enrichment
Blaine PTA offers a wide variety of enriching extracurricular classes and activities for our students. From engineering with legos, to learning Spanish, to chess club, there is sure to be something for every student!
Scholarships are available! During the registration process, families can simply select 50% or 100% scholarships. There are no eligibility criteria or documentation needed to request or be awarded a scholarship. If 100% is selected, no further action is required. If 50% is selected, families should choose to “pay by check.” You’ll then be contacted to pay the difference.
Registration for the Winter Quarter goes live on January 13th! Returning families can send enrollment requests through the Parent Dashboard by clicking Enrollment and then Enroll for 2024-2025.
To expedite the registration process, new families should complete the New Family Enrollment Form prior to registration opening.
The Winter Quarter runs from Monday, February 3rd, to Monday, 31st (8 weeks). After-school camp is only offered on days when SPS is in session.

Would your child like to join friends for an organized, active game led by one of our experienced counselors? Would they prefer to play an indoor board game or a card game? How about solo time to color or work on homework? Maybe they need some less structured free time on the playground or field (rain or shine!) after school to burn off excess energy and engage in
free play. We offer all of those options! Choose Your Own Adventure allows each child to recharge after school in their own way, without screens and with proper supervision.

Have you ever wanted to provide your child with the opportunity of being bilingual? Students will learn and practice the second most commonly spoken language in the U.S. while benefiting from language learner outcomes such as support for higher academic achievement and the development of cognitive skills. Additionally, learning a new language gives students a greater global understanding of our world and access to another culture to see things from a new perspective. This is an immersion class consisting of a section of language instruction in an academic setting (60 min) and a section of Arts & Crafts activities in Spanish (30 min). The academic component follows an innovative, dynamic and well-researched curriculum while the Arts & Crafts section provides a fun environment to practice the language and learn new words in real context through painting & drawing, crafting and music.
